India has become the world’s fastest-growing big economy, expanding by more than 7.5% in 2015. Encouraged by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ambitious talk of structural reforms, investors are flocking to the country in the hope of big profits. Indeed, India has a lot to be optimistic about. The country’s middle class, now thought to be around 50m people, should grow to four times that by 2020.
